The ITS European Congress, the largest event entirely dedicated to smart mobility and digitalisation of transport is organised by ERTICO – ITS Europe.
The ITS European Congress is part of a bigger cluster of ITS Congresses. It is organised in a European city in the years where there is no ITS World Congress in Europe. The ITS World Congress rotates between Europe, the Asia Pacific region and the Americas. For all European Congresses, ERTICO and its Partners work closely with the European Commission and the host city to deliver an outstanding event built around three pillars:
International Programme sessions and presentations with top speakers from the industry
Demonstrations of the current transport technologies developed and deployed throughout the world
Exhibition of cutting-edge companies
These events are a strategic opportunity for the transport industry to come together and show the latest innovations, with a slightly different focus for each year. The Congresses display the host city’s latest achievements in the field of intelligent mobility services, supporting the hosts in increasing the awareness of the importance of new solutions and investments in the host region and country.
During the Congress, ERTICO Partners, sponsors and exhibitors have the opportunity to arrange more focused events before, during and after the Congress, as well as having access to meeting rooms, lounge areas and hospitality rooms.
1tth Asia Pacific Forum on Itelligent Transport Systems
De 25 a 28 de Maio de 2020
The 17th ITS Asia Pacific Forum is being hosted in Brisbane by ITS Australia in 2020 from Monday 25 – Thursday 29 May at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The 4 day forum will include a strong industry program including tours and demonstrations, an exhibition, as well as an exciting social program. The 2020 ITS APAC Forum Theme of “ITS Innovation Creating Liveable Communities” will demonstrate Australia’s new initiatives and adapted learnings from the advances of our neighbouring mega cities. Key topics to be covered included MaaS (Mobility as a Service), Autonomous Vehicles, Data Analytics and network development.
Brisbane is a multicultural and dynamic city with first class facilities that is conveniently accessible to the APAC region. ITS Australia has no doubts that Brisbane will ensure the 17th Asia Pacific Forum will be a highlight in the ITS Calendars and that visitors from the APAC region will experience a great range of smart technology initiatives and receive a very warm welcome.
The ITS Congresses represent the ultimate showcase of mobility services deployment.
Congresses are the yearly celebration of smart mobility: they underline the importance of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), particularly in the cities and regions where they are hosted and are important channels to raise awareness of smart mobility solutions among policy Makers, experts and the General Public.
ITS Congresses include live sessions where industry experts present the latest developments in ITS, a showcase of cutting edge technology and an exhibition space. The Congress offers stakeholders and patrons the ultimate platform to meet with industry influencers, discuss ideas and initiatives, make new contacts and promote their businesses by taking part in a range of activities.
Given all mentioned here above, ERTICO is organising a specific Central – Eastern ITS Congress to promote the development and deployment of ITS in Central-Eastern Countries. The Central – Eastern ITS Congress will follow the same format as the ITS European Congresses and should complement them with the aim to showcase the ITS achievements of the Host region and to play a role in increasing awareness of the ITS initiative within the Host region itself.
"Connecting People, Places & Ideas" was our annual theme in 2008. It was the perfect theme for IBTTA's first trip to Buenos Aires for our Toll Road Summit of the Americas as delegates from around the world came to examine an array of institutional models that were being used to successfully finance and develop both urban and inter-urban highways. It's been more than 10 years since our last visit so we're headed back for our International Summit of South America in 2020 to see the changes in the city and its environs and to share best practices in toll road engineering, design, finance, technology, and operations in the region. The IBTTA International Committee will spearhead the planning of this event. Be sure to block the dates and prepare for an eye-opening and incredibly interesting place to meet your South American colleagues and learn about this dynamic region.
